Is Mehyar a bank?
No. Mehyar is a travel app that helps visitors pay for trips and make bookings.
Can I use my international card in Iran?
No. International cards do not work in Iran — Visa, Mastercard, and other foreign bank cards are not accepted. Mehyar lets you pay and book through the app instead.
Which languages are supported?
Mehyar is available in English, Persian, Arabic, Turkish, Chinese, Russian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Hindi.
Is the app available now?
Yes. Open Get the app to install Mehyar on your phone from the web (Add to Home Screen on iPhone, Install on Android). Native App Store and Google Play listings are coming later.
Why do I need to verify my email?
Email verification protects your account and is required before wallet access and payment-related features.
What is KYC and why is it required?
Know Your Customer (KYC) verification confirms your identity using your passport. Iranian regulations and partner providers require approved KYC before travel bookings and wallet top-ups.
How long does KYC approval take?
Most submissions are reviewed within one business day. You will receive an in-app notification when approved or if more information is needed.
Which payment methods are supported?
You can top up via bank transfer, local payment gateways, and cash at partner locations. Bookings are paid from your Mehyar wallet balance.
Can I cancel a booking?
Yes, when the provider allows it. Open the booking in the app and follow the cancellation flow. Refund amounts depend on the provider policy.
How do I contact support?
Use the Help Center page, email support@mehyar.app, or submit a request from the Mehyar app once you have an account.
